Fencing Contractors

Fencing & Trellis done properly.

Close-board, feather-edge, panel and bespoke trellis fencing set in concrete on posts that stay upright.

Our approach to fencing and trellis.

Most failed fences fail at the post. We set posts in concrete to the right depth, use gravel boards to keep timber off wet ground, and space and fix rails so panels don't sag or twist through the first winter.

We install close-board and feather-edge fencing, standard panel runs, slatted and contemporary screens, and bespoke trellis — including the arched and diamond-lattice work you'll see in our gallery.

How it works

From first call to final clean-down.

01

Measure and mark

We measure the run, agree the boundary line with you and flag any services before digging post holes.

02

Posts

Dug to depth and set in postcrete, plumbed and left to cure before anything's hung on them.

03

Rails, boards and trellis

Gravel boards, arris rails and feather-edge or panels fitted to line, with trellis tops made to size.

04

Clear away

Old fencing and concrete removed and disposed of, and the garden left tidy.

FAQs

Fencing & Trellis — common questions

How much does fencing cost per metre?
It depends on height, timber grade and whether posts are timber or concrete. We quote per job after measuring rather than throwing out a per-metre figure that changes later.
Which side of the fence is mine?
There's no universal rule — your title deeds decide it. We're happy to help you work it out and we always suggest speaking to the neighbour first.
Can you make bespoke trellis?
Yes, we make trellis to size on site, including arched tops and diamond lattice work.
