Landscaping is where the building side and the garden side meet, and it's the work we're probably best known for. Sloping gardens levelled into usable terraces, retaining walls that actually retain, patios and paths that tie the whole thing together.
We do hard and soft landscaping — walls, steps, paving, sleepers, fencing, turf, borders and planting — so the garden gets finished by one team instead of being handed between three.

Landscaping — common questions
- Can you work with a sloping garden?
- Yes — terracing with retaining walls and steps is some of our favourite work. Drainage behind the walls is the critical part and we never skip it.
- Do you do planting as well as hard landscaping?
- We do. Turfing, borders, topsoil and planting are all part of the service, and we can work to a designer's planting plan if you have one.
- What time of year is best?
- Hard landscaping can be done year-round. Turfing and planting are happiest in spring and autumn, so we'll sequence around it where it matters.
